I think the likes of MSN and Yahoo have made IRC ancient history in terms of online chatting. Only the die-hards still use it.

Some on here [eletious I think] did set up flirtbox on IRC about 2 years ago, and it was popular for a while. But everyone just drifted away from it. Problem is people come and go from this site.
Also did cause a few arguments whether it was taking people away from the forums.
Personally I'm too slow for that sort of thing
