Norwegian actress and pin-up girl Julie Ege has recently died at the age 0f 64 from cancer.

Unless you're over 40 or into cult movies the name probably won't mean anything to you but if you, like me lapped up all those late night British films shown in the 70's & 80's then you will have definately seen several films starring this stunningly beautiful glamourpuss actress - her credits included several saucy comedies and gruesome horror films of the period, highlights being the movie version of 'Up Pompeii' (playing opposite Frankie Howerd) , Not Now Darling, The Magnificent Seven Deadly Sins, Craze, The Mutations, a Bond film (On Her Majesty's Secret Service) and two Hammer movies (Creatures The World Forgot and The Legend Of The 7 Golden Vampires).

A quick visit to google images will instantly remind you of Julie. RIP
