Website that lists houses that are up for auction in your areas, the list prices are lower than the high street prices and auctions either go one way or another.
If i had money i would consider getting a house like this, was going to share equity with my mate...never ended up too much of a commitment.

The problem is buying now is a bad idea....house prices will still fall. But maybe in 1-2 years it might be worth again.....but in my opinion buying land would be much better as you could build your own house and save money on the monthly bills...
I think in 5-10 years the monthly bills will be a lot higher then now...so saving energy will save lots of money. The problem is you can't do a lot to save energy with an old house...only slightly.
