Yes most of his paintings have a similiar theme: umbrellas, beaches, etc.
"dance me to the end of love" not sure, but I think they are on the beach?
"in thoughts of you" is a very nice choice aluria. Certainly unique from his common themes. The woman in this painting has to be an inspired lover of Jack's I think. What a woman too I have to add:)
romantic..me..I plea the 5th kidding. Thank you

Jack Vettriano (born 17 November 1951 Fife) is a Scottish painter. Originally Jack Hoggan, he grew up in the industrial seaside town of Methil, Fife. He left school at 16 and became an apprentice mining engineer, but later took up painting as a hobby in his twenties. His earliest paintings were copies or pastiches of impressionist paintings (his first painting was a copy of Monet's Poppy Fields). Like the "Singing Butler" you never get a clear impression of the subjects faces. Some critics liken his work to, 'Painting by numbers'. Still whatever your feellings about his work, he's bound to do well out of 'Droit de suite'
