got mine last year. i got a treble clef and a bass clef of my wrists. they are pretty small but mean a lot to me. im trying to design a sleeve for my right arm. but its a bit of a big project and i cant draw to save my life so it may take a while. haha. anyone got any large tattoos?

I have one on my left leg that goes from my ankle to about half way to my knee. It is Winnie the Pooh and he has a balloon with my daughters name in it. I have recently thought about getting my back done. Kind of a tribute to my daughter as she passed away almost six years ago. Just need to find someone that can do portraits really well. Smile

I didn't really think mine hurt that much either. I have three at the moment, but I want some more. I designed all of mine to a certain extent, so each of them mean something to me. I have one of the 'Tramp Stamps' or whatever you would like to call them. It is a Claddagh design with clovers coming off in a tribal design. I also have the three of swords tarot on my left calf. I also designed a simple one that was my zodiac sign and element symbol and got it on the back of my neck. I fell asleep during all of mine so it isn't some strange sadomasochism that had me get mine...more like a desire to be slightly unique. I love tattoos and I plan on getting some more. I have some designed, but they are expensive to get!

Thanks!! I will have to do that! Would still like some more work done on my Winnie the Pooh and maybe add more like Eeyore.

That is really cool that you want to do that for your dad. I really want to do that for Shea as well. Not sure what people would think if I did get my whole back done. Well I guess as long as I like it that's all that counts!! Still looking for someone that can do the portraits!!

Early ones on each forearm were done when I was 18 and in the Army. A mouse which was my nickname and an ace of hearts with my own name in because everyone said I wore my heart on my sleeve. I would never have a wife or girlfriends name.

Later, I got another on the back of my shoulder of a Chinese dragon and in Malta a few years later, I got one on the top of each arm. A Wyvern which is my favourite Dragon and two hearts with mum and dad in them and "in loving memory" in memory of my parents who have passed.

Got my first one when i was 18 and pissed in skegness. My mates told the bloke i wanted vengaboys on it! luckily he asked first! Ended up with a heart and a dagger with a rose and bon jovi scrolled over the front. Bit 80's cliche but i like it. Got a few more since but nothing massive next i want a big ass celtic cross on the inside of my arm.

I've got a beautiful tribal horse on my lower back, i got it because the horse means a lot to me as they are a part of my life and the horse has many symbolic meanings power, endurance, freedom and so on, i think to get a tat it should mean something to you so that in later life years later you can look at it and it will still means something
