I ended up in London yesterday, meeting up with my sister, not the countryside as i had originally planned for the day. I stayed around Westminster Bridge for the sunset before hopping on a bus to chinatown for a bite to eat
I know this forum crops pics like it is in the texas chainsaw masacre, so i will post the linkable thumb instead.

Nice camera Sue. The jessops twin lens bundle is good value
http://www.jessops.com/online.store/products/77207/show.html
If there is one lens that I want to get it will be a 10mm like this one
http://www.photosolution.co.uk/sigma-10mm-f2-8-nikon-p-1284.html
but that thing costs more than my camera! I will stick to my 18-55mm for the time being.
took this one last weekend, have ordered prints but if they print well I might get it on canvas and hang it in my flat

I did see the Jessops bundle and it is good value, but I found another source that had an even better deal that suited me. I've got written confirmation through now that it'll be here tomorrow and they've deducted the extra I paid to get it quick.
That lens you want looks an exciting addition to your kit, but expensive too. This year I'm going to include a few flower photographs in my Open Studio Art Exhibition as it'll be useful to see if they generate any interest, and if they do, then I could do half and half next year. |
Just flowers? You live near the sea don't you Sue? The sea is an amazing subject to photograph, if I lived near it I would photograph it every day as part of a 365 project
