Hi, welcome to the forums.

If your images are already hosted on a server somewhere (I assume they are if you have a web site), you can use the Img button in the posting page to create a link to the images, like this

Art:
[img]url to image here[/img]

therefore this BBCode

Art:
[img]http://www.olds.cc/bits/250706_chip.jpg[/img]

would produce this

As far as posting links on the forum goes, I think it is generally accepted that one may add links to MySpace pages (for example), and I think it is commonly acceptable to post links to ones own web site with works of art/photography etc in the Arts forum. If a moderator finds the link unacceptable, no doubt they will edit the post to remove the link.

I guess the least contentious way to go would be to use the img tags in your post.

I think the only objection to that link might be that your web site compromises your anonimity (something that the Flirtbox web site implements as a matter of course for its members), insofar as your personal contact details are on the contact page. Then again, if you post IMG links to your images on your web site, anyone with initiative could also just go to the web site Smile

I quite freely use one (or more) or my web sites to host images that I post on this forum, but I don't have phone numbers on my site (and I'm a miserable old bastard who rarely answers his phone anyway )

I'll remove my contact number from the website...I was a bit wary of leaving it on there, however, it's just the same with the whole world anyway (?)...

the thing about the image posting is I'm new to this, have tried to that before on another site and took me ages and a sore head afterwards...But, I guess practise makes perfect...Thanks again...
