I mostly draw people, but I'm hoping to draw some animal portraits soon. I've always strayed away from them as I used to find them quite difficult, but now my skills have improved I'm eager to try again.

Here's one of my animal pictures that I drew back in March, I have to stress that I've improved since then!:

Sketchartist> those are amazing! You're one extremely talented girl.

Anyways, Ive been doing (trying) digital art...
Most of its just been for fun and because I was bored.

And Im gonna post links here, so Im not bogging down the page!

Firstly, I used to all the advertsing flyers for a local band night....
Some examples are....

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v304/joose2001/cm01.jpg
(both very simple, yet effective)

(deffinately my favourite one.... more so because of the she-devil, which was part of me messing about, took a good month to get that one right!)

And then theres the stuff of me messing about

Just a quick doodle whilst on the phone one day! haha

And this final one....
It was a work in progress, untill my PC got wiped and lost the completed and other w.i.p files Sad
Anyways.... This was using "ArtRage" and is a w.i.p of Bettie Page

I love the last WIP you posted. I've never heard of "ArtRage" I think I'll have to hunt that down sometime!

No probs Martin Very Happy

Love the new pic you've posted. It has a very impressionistic feel to it. How does the program work? Do you upload a photo then add effects to it, or have you created that picture from scratch?

You can use a pic as like a "tracing image" and then "paint" over it, sort of an easier way to use as a guide, which I have done.... but still takes abit of work to do... or yes, you can create them from scratch
