Hey Sue,
I have had a look at your work before and I really liked your photos of the flowers - I have been trying to take pictures of my orchids, but my camera is just not good enough - they have stopped flowering so I hope I have enough time to save up for a decent camera by the next bloom.
I just noticed 'Into the Light' I love the symmetry of butterfly wings and the orchid detail looks really fine (just looking on the computer screen).
I like waterlillies and placid pool too.

ALL THINGS BRIGHT AND BEAUTIFUL I did this pic a few years ago it took me 7 weeks full time equivalent and I used water-soluable pencils on board to create it. The true colours are much more vibrant than this repro it's around 30" x 24" I was going through a bit of a Mother Earth/Goddess phase at the time. |

Thank you Vanda. The camera really does make a big difference, in fact whereas I'm happy to use 12.1 mp to capture the details of nature,I use a low mp for portraits as faces look so much better without the freckles and blemishes being detailed!
I saved £150 quid by buying my last camera from Jessops instead of Argos(which you would expect to be cheaper)so it's worth shopping around and buying a couple of What Camera type magazines, so you can have an idea as to what's on the market and they features that are important for you to have.

Argos is a bit hit and miss with cameras, they have some great offers at times though, although these seem to sell out almost immediately.

I love your sculptures vegkid
I guess there's more demand for sculpture these days because people are wanting unusual features in their gardens.

Don't know whether it ever will! It's just for my sketchbook so it's only supposed to be quick.

Oh well you've added some thing more colour today since I last looked, very vibrant from your sketchbook? It looks computer generated.

I love this psychodellic portrait you've had up the last couple of days too.

OMG ED!Your picture above me is lovely, I like the way you've used the spectrum as well as the design itself. I've never met anybody else who has the same patience as me to do loads of tiny repeating patterns. You have this little leaf shape and I mainly use tiny diamond shapes as in this pic entitled 'Soul Star'
By drawing/painting the diamonds individually I was trying to capture an element of spiralling movement as well as a metallic appearance. I had this one on Exhibition one year at St.Martins-in-the-fields crypt in Trafalgar Square.
