Ok, what I would do is outsource from a different genre. Have a look at something completely different and dabble in that for a while. Sometimes it breaks you out of a dead end.

WOW! uv've got amazing talent!!! so many ideas popped up in my head going thru ur stuff lol e.g. we could have Ace White and Tribal Jinx going backwards in time in a surreal hiphop world type twilight zone showing how it all began..

i haven't got much stuff online this minute as im currently working on a portfolio..

for the hiphop online thing im doing, im currently animating a timeline dating back to the 1920s as a reference for hiphop dance culture (check Earl Tucker "Snake Hips" on youtube for e.g.) so like i said, u can create or use existing characters and have them time travel.. it would kind of blend manga into hiphop in a cool way lol and at the same time, tell an informative story.. what software do u use?

Yes you are talented. I cannot even get a straight line to look the same twice !!

You could try dragons...some of the descriptions in Ann Mccafferys Dragon Riders of Pern series are good to start with. Also some of the characters in Terry Pratchetts books are good enough to draw I think...but you either love them or loath them. (The books I mean)

There's some good stuff you've done there.
You're obviously into the fantasy genre.

I know you've touched on some, but what about the whole range of facial emotions - Fear, anger, joy, lust, sadness etc

Saving that a manga Cthulhu would always be cool!

Cthulhu...yeah manga star trek! Wink

I came arcoss the 'fury' genre the otherday...how weird, even for manga is that, there were some very unusual riffs on the theme.

Ideas? What about a story depicted in manga/trad tattoos, yazuka style...could be like the dreams of Crying Freeman. Or Two lovers tattoos could depict a dream as they sleep, depicting a tale or fable across the interwined landscapes of flesh.

That's an interesting idea, a set of pictures portraying the different emotions would have some really useful applications. I used to work with people having learning disabilities, many who had little or no speech, and attractive, pictures of emotions would have been great.

You have some very good work there.
I liked the Water Spirit and Fire Spirit.
What about Air/Wind Spirit and Earth Spirit too?
(Make an elemental set!) Very Happy

You could also do a seasons version!

Here's an idea for a work based on good/evil or youth/old age:
Foreground an attractive, young woman (princess, say, adorned and well-dressed - flowing clothes) - maybe showing some cleavage/leg (i.e. sexy). Looking towards the viewer and smiling.
Background is a mirror, but the reflection shows an old hag/witch - same stance/attitude.
The same person, but 100 years older! The same person, but 100 more evil! Very Happy

Handsel.
