I play badly considering how much gear I've got - 4 guitars (3 electric, 1 acoustic), 4 amps (3 valve heads with 1 4x12, 1 solid state) and more effects than you can shake a stick at.

I'm not interested in lead guitar, but more rhythm although that isn't surprising considering the music I like.

He taught your little italian virtuoso. I don't know if he still teaches at all. I just remember being blown away at a g3 concert one time. It was mind blowing

They are both very good at what they do and i can only dream about being anything like them at all. I do not have the fast fingers. Actually i never had fast fingers even with practise they only get slighly faster. Not into metal too much as this is too simple almost. I call it e string rock. Satriani is more like what i would like to sound like yet dont come close to doing. There are times now when i just look at the guitar every once in a while now and dont play. This is happening more and more.

I'm only interested in playing flamenco guitar, which is a hell of a lot tougher than I thought it'd be.

Steinberger guitars - anyone played/seen one up close recently? i.e. in this millenium?

I wouldn't mind one of the 'cricket bat' style ones.

Anyone know how the Skylark's compare?
