one chord worth checking out is B7nt, this can be moved from 2, 7nt and 9th fret and if you give it 8 strums on each you have a great blues feel

I could have sworn I posted this already. Just reading that someone bought a G+L recently. I have a G+L EL Toro. Well if you are into bass the DUDEPIT is a good forum to check out. It's full of all these american musicians most of whom are pros and alot of whom are serious G+L freaks. They are a good bunch and will give advice to anybody who asks nicely for it. They may also point you to a few bargians.

As for playing an instrument, I'm playing in bands the last 21 years at least. First gig at 16. It's a world of hurt but I wouldn't have it any other way... The only way to get good is to practice every chance you get and always play with people who are better than you!!!
Guitar is easy to pick up but to get good takes alot of effort. I'm currently learning to play lap steel so I try and get an hour in every day, it reminds me of bein 14 or 15 again! It helps if there is someone you can get together and play with too...
Anyway
