just an Idea, not sure if you all heard of GP4, best guitar program, stay away from gp5. Anyhow if we can start working on songs and passing them round for help and banter on them.

I played in a band for 3years and all the songs we wrote were done by using Guitar Pro 4! Its in my personal opinion the best piece of software out there for writing music on! Guitar Pro 5 is absolutle cack though which is a shame!

Nothing else matters is a crackin song, as gizzemoto said though it depends what kinda music your into, i have in the last week started learning some of Norah Jones's bass lines! They are simple yet have alot of feeling in them!

Been playing for about nine months now, am I good? errr well I guess Im okay but wouldn't say good.
I found the hardest thing was actually getting a good guitar without doing a bank robbery first.
Ended up with a Crafter acoustic.

Sounds great and doesnt leave you with a handful of black paint.
First one I bought had a painted fret board!
I think buying instruments of any sort has a steep learning curve!

i have 4 basses!

The last one i bought was back in the spring of 2005, i spent £600 on a
G&L L2000 Tribute Bass, it took me about 5-6 months to decided that it was the right one for me! Since then i have been waying up the next one!
Either a Yamaha RBX5 or Peavy Cirrus BXP (I think thats what its called). Both lovely basses, both with lovely price tags! Wink
