Been toying with the idea for a few years now on getting a tattoo done on my back and its taken me since i was 12 to work out exactly what i want. At least its not a spur of the moment thing. Anyway always wanted a pair of wings but cant seem to find any i like. Plus i want it incorporated with a long stem black rose going the length of my back with the flower just below the base of my neck so its not visible normally. Also as well as the thorns and some petals i would like the wings emerging from the stem. Does anyone feel they would like to give this a bash at drawing but only in shades of black and grey. Thanks in advance for anyone who gives it a go

Hi. Thats really nice but not really what i was looking for. Im looking for the stem to be more the length of my back with the wings starting half way up the stem but i want the wings going back down my back the full length too. Good answer, but its not quite right. Lol catchphrase hee hee

so you want.. a black rose basicly down your spine, with wings coming out from the middle but covering the hole side ? that should look pretty cool - if my mental image is right.

if it hasn't been done by the time i get home from work, i'll have a go with photoshop

Rather than ask someone here to draw it for you , my advice is this . find yourself a good tattoo artist look outside your area if you have to . Take lots of reference pic for ideas and work with the artist, and any tattoo artist worth his salt will design and redisgn your piece for you till its what your after , one thing people off the street seem to think is this tatoo artist can read pics right outa the mind lol .and as its going on your body so the area needs to have a tracing , this advice is give from someone who worked in the trade , me . if you have any questions mate just mail me here ill point you in the direction of some good artists . i hope this helps you .

Instead of a tattoo, put the money on a real rose and a south american Parakeet... looking after both is an art in itself and easier to get rid of if you change your mind further down the line...!
