No, but should I?
I put my art onto my profile albums on a few sites, but do you recommend deviant art as a good place to showcase your work, and do you have to pay to be on there? and do you sell your art there too?

I've checked it out a bit more now. Looks a great site for artists really, especially if you're someone who tends to have a big output, sadly I'm a very slow worker as I do some highly detailed work that takes ages. I usually have several pieces that I work on at the same time though and it's a great feeling if I complete more than one within a short time of each other.
I thought your drawings looked very interesting, they have an almost 'outsider' art feel to them.

Well I decided to join deviantart, but only got 4 pics up so far as I had a few technical problems that took ages to sort out.

I'm pleased with the response so far as a few people have added me to their favourites and a couple of watchers too. Like any new person on a site I got the WELCOME ENCOURAGEMENT haha!!

If you're interested have a peep. Think I have more of a niche market as my work is a bit 'New Agey'

Since I joined deviantart last month I've already reached 500 page views and a few hundred messages, comments and people choosing to add my pics to their favourites gallery. It makes me think I should have joined ages ago. There's some really lovely people as well as some incredible artists.

Lovely bright colourful gallery you have.... I'm just getting used to all the manga/anime art, it's all a bit new to me but I do love to look at the characters.
If there's anything I'm not sure on I just place it in the scraps section, that way you have an opportunity to still receive comments that may be helpful and yet, because you're placed it there, people won't expect it to be your best work.

I know, 'cos I wished there were more comments on my pics too. I don't mind anything constructive either, but half the time the comments end up more like a conversation than the 'nitty gritty' of the artwork.
I have tried commenting more often on other people's pics and that does encourage people to check you out.
