Can't help but notice he's been a bit quiet for the last couple of months. Since about, ooh, well about the time Tony Hart died.
Whoah, wait a moment...

He's just split from his agent of many years and his identity is no longer a secret. Banksy was an enigma, the faceless man of the art world. Now we know he is Robin Cunningham, ex public school boy from Bristol, some of the mystique has gone.

Also, he is probably sat quite happily in a room somewhere counting his millions.

Still love his work though.

You've ruined it now! I always dreamt he was the lovechild of Bob Marley and Mary Shelley

I love his work, looking forward to going to Bristol to see the display at the art gallery.

To anyone who has been; how is the exhibition?

I really like Banksy and I'm thinking of heading down to Bristol sometime.

Banksy is a top notch artist, really superb and eye catching work!

I am a huge fan on street art and recently published a book on the street art of Athens, though I have withdrawn the first edition to work on the second editon and involve some of the artists in the actual project.

Another great artist to check out is Dbase, his style is not unlike banksy though he tends to focus on pop art images, I have a few of his pictures on my website as he is a close friend of mine:

I go past an original 'Banksy' on the way to work each morning. Someone has sabotaged it with a paint roller, so it's been covered up to protect it from further abuse.

I'm totally undecided about the guy. I used to love his stuff. It was once refreshingly new and different, but I fear he's becoming too much of a 'one-trick-poney.' His newer attempts at artforms other than just graffiti have been a little disappointing. I'm yet to see his film, but I really want to. It's supposed to be quite good. Here's hoping.

Agreed. He is amazingly talented and that is undeniable.
