I get tired when I get home though, try to go to sleep but I just..don't fall to sleep!

Nope, those are just my eyes. My ex was fascinated by the colours in them but funnily enough every photo she tried to take came out crap. I think I have a hex on me which makes me break cameras.

I get this now and then. I was told to picture a stop sign in my head and focus on it. But that never worked for me. Only exercise (at one point I was riding my mountain bike up to 20 miles a day five times a week) or alcohol got me to sleep. Except alcohol give you crap sleep as you take longer or never fully get into deep sleep? Something like that.

Hmm.... Let's see, what would a doctor prescribe...

A few options.

* lots and lots of bedroom aerobics to knacker you out and make you feel relaxed, but you'll be sleeping in a wet spot and wake up cold

*something involving visiting the "outside", but I've heard it's a horrible place full of scary monsters

*lashing of wormwood based absinthe, but it it'll make you talk to the walls and chase the neighbours cat with a fluffy slipper because you're convinced it has just stolen your last Rolo

*self medication with a shotgun, but it's a bit messy



Actually the only real thing I've found which works is knackering your body. So you're far too tired to think and your body tells you you're going to bed. Unless it's stuff playing on your mind and then the only lasting way is to vent and feel you've been listened to.
