Well, I seem to have set some kind of a record with my "is it just me" post. 100 views in 13 hours without a single reply. It was one of my first posts as well. Bright future that suggests. Crying or Very sad

I think you're all just being very gentle with me. You take a look, think 'yes he is plain weird', then go away without saying anything.

Oh well, what can I pretend to like?

Christopher

Don't pretend to like anything. Be you. Also, for the billionth time it has to be said on here, there are considerably less women on dating sites than men.

You're in a scrum with six to ten other men per woman looking for a partner.
About a third of the men in the scrum decide to open messages with "OMG UR FIT GOT MSN LOL (mobile number inserted here)" your chances are possibly lowered because the women are still reeling from that stupid behaviour.

Your age-group may not fit in with the age-group of what's left over. Probably best to keep it within 7-10 years either way unless someone's profile states what age range they're after and you happen to be in it.

It's a tough world out there in net-dating, the key to it is patience, be yourself and don't act like a twat, which I am sure you do not.

You have a nice profile that's a pleasure to read, you've explained your likes and dislikes, now you must wait or construct some pleasant messages to women whose profiles you've also read thoroughly, picking up on common interests as an opener is always a winner.

Oh I just thought his first message had no point of existing... Didn't really get why he'd put that info here and under that particular title... I'm sure there's a section for that on his profile or somewhere around here. As a sort of forum mod on another forum I know how lovely is when new peeps come and start throwin their messages everywhere without even readin' the forums. Laughing Laughing Laughing
However, good luck to you, Christopher, I'm sure you're a nice guy and maybe you'll fit in (*tries to squeeze Christopher in Razz PMSL). Cheers!
