Probably.

Unless one has kids, I just don't see the point in the dreaded x**s, it has no real meaning anymore. To me, the whole thing is just a pain in the arse, as all the shops are closed on that day and I might need something.

A PM for me? I don't like Gordon Brown!

Sorry, I can't collect PM's, no idea why, never really bothered me as no-one ever messages me through the site anyway

If I am lucky, I shall be able to afford to buy a loaf of bread on Saturday; not sure if I can make it last until the 25th though, so I'll have to think of something else for my x**s present.

This afternoon I heard Paul O Grady* interviewing the Sugerbabes, and he asked one of the girls (no idea what her name is), who is assumedly a new member, how she was settling into the band. Eh? Since when was a singing girl group a band?

* Does it surprise people that I watch the Paul O Grady show? It's not my fault it's on at the same time that I light my fire and have a break from work. Besides, it's not actually me that watches it, it's Pebbles - I think she has a crush on Buster.

darkhourse57 can understand your view on christmas. Have had very difficult times in past and 2007 christmas will be very difficult. Maybe best thing is to abolish christmas as oliver cromwell did?!!!

Didn't you get yours?? I suspect she was really busy, maybe she just ran out of time and thought "I'll bake him a Midlands Rumpy Pumpy Pie instead"

Rather than cancel, couldn't you just ask her to see me again this year?
