Why sometimes do threads go completely off topic, I know you mods do a good job of getting them back on track.

I like most people on here do a lot of reading and following certain threads, some are brilliant, it could be about say how someone was in love etc etc, then some spoon comes in (quotes a thread) and says something like not as good as Schumachers qualyfying lap,

The above is just an example, but I feel you get what I'm grasping at.

Im guilty of making threads go off topic, I just dive in with some half baked daft comment then run away. Saying that Im not to blame for the toilet seat incident last night, I merely mentioned it in passing then everyone jumped on it and poor Laura got the blame. Oh how I laughed.

Sometimes it just happens..... as some discussions can lead to further discussions and so on..... if you get my meaning? A little OT is ok providing it gets back to the orriginal topic... All the mods allow a little OT..its only when it becomes apparent that the post has been totally lost somewhere! back 4 or 5 pages, does then, a Mod politely intervean to allow others to be able to give their views on the Orriginal posting.

Yeah OT is natural, in relation to a thread it's very easy for someone to disclose something not related and then for the next person to pick up on it and poof, the OP is forgotten LOL. soooo easy.
