I have tried that tactic but some of them just wont be told ! They see it as a small victory that you have replied even though its a 'no' !

I suppose there are weirdo's on here like everywhere else. I've messaged about half a dozen since I've been on here. If they've logged on since I sent the message, and its obvious they haven't read it, I'll delete it.

I don't suppose there's many men that have to worry about these things on this site. Women definitely have the power...and I've noticed on some profiles, some know it Surprised

Well i seldom message much now anyway! Found it to be waste of time! But When i do if i don't recieve a reply i certainly don't pester or keep sending derogatory messages! People i consider to be rude i instantly block. I had some hi jinks recently with someone from Birmingham who even went as far as registering several profiles and swamping me with derogatory messages which i just deleted! But a slight twist to this question? Why do people respond set up a raport then suddenly cease chatting? what is the point?

I think that perhaps somewhere that we could post the nicks of persistent offenders and love pests for all to see would help in putting them off! even using different nicks doesnt stop them from becoming recognisable as the same person! It works on another site i use so why not here?

I understand they are still stored, but it would tidy up the outbox for senders, not that I've sent enough to worry about that yet.

Yeh I can understand that but its the repeat offenders that are a nuisance. And they often refer to their last message so they quite obviously haven't forgotten who they messaged

Do you send a polite 'sorry not interested' ?..do you get a different response when you do that ?

I don't bother reading the repeat offenders mails. Just delete. Seems to get rid of them quicker cos they can see in hteir outbox that you've not read it.

And you told me you were washing your hair! Crying or Very sad

I only ever message once as 99% get ignored anyway. In fact i don't send any messages any more unless i recieve one first. That in itself has saved me hours worth of writing. Maybe i'm a funny bugger but i always reply, even if it's just to say i'm not interested. Mind you, i hate ignorance so treat others as i expect to be treated.
