i know we can not post links, so i will copy part of the story from the bbc website
Police are trying to trace the mother of a newborn baby whose body was found in east London with the umbilical cord still attached.
The baby, believed to be a white boy, had been covered in a ribbed olive green coloured piece of clothing in gardens at Skelton Close, Hackney.
Scotland Yard said it is urgent that the mother comes forward as she is likely to be in need of medical help.
