our garden is a tad wild atm so once i have had a go with a weed whacker i shall plant some stuff

If weeds don't grow, neither will flowers!

Good luck with whatever you decide to grow Cat.
I'm putting some more eidibles this year but growing them among the flowers as some are companion plants that can help each other grow better or have insect enemy protection.

Has anyone tried growing their potatoes in those huge bags instead of the garden as I'm interested to know if their crop claims are likely?

Smokables?

I ain't got a garden.

I did think of getting a window box though.

(But I got told I couldn't, cos it might fall on someone's head. The kind of people who live around here, it would probably just bounce off anyway.)

So I settled for 2 palms, 3 yuccas (one is well over 2 metres) and another plant in the hall. Don't know what kind of plant it is, but desite the original label saying it thrives in sunlight, it is doing quite well in a dark corner. Her name is Florence.

Meant to post these a couple of weeks ago, but the garden looks much the same now Smile

And Sue, from what I've experienced and what others have relayed to me, nothing beats growing in the ground except NFT, so save your money!

Oh they're beautiful photos Ed. I'll take some tomorrow of my garden unless I can find the ones I took last week.

I'm not going to grow spuds then if they have to be in the ground as I want the space for other plants.

Took a few pics of flowers today. Not really my garden, its down the side of the house, so its my neighbours really but these flowers were tiny and very cute, then I spotted an ant on it Laughing

WOW! That's a strange-looking flower! Laughing
Don't tell me: The top part flaps up and down, or rotates, to attract a specific butterfly or bee.
