I like some of these - I don't like wall cabinets (had 2 fall on me, one last month). I don't like panelling, I do not like flashy work surfaces, lots of different heights, don't like harsh lines,

I kind of like this one http://www.kralle.co.uk/web_gallery_4/pages/AL3_H.htm without the wall cabinets, great for a small place.

But prefer this http://www.kralle.co.uk/web_gallery_4/pages/BS2_H.htm which as a kitchen would be stunning - just not over the top.

And I like the simplicity and low levels of this one http://www.kralle.co.uk/web_gallery_4/pages/RB1_H.htm

From the selection it would have to be 1 or 7.

3, 4, 6 & 8 would make me cry if I had to have one of them. There's something I really don't like.

None of them are a must have for me.

What would I go for ? Umm, I'm a bloke, I'm not interested in browsing through these things and thinking about them until I have to do so. Things I would be thinking about would be:

1. Plenty of work surface to prepare things.

2. Ease of cleaning, and minimal risk of it starting to look really bad after a fair bit of use.

3. No funky patterns or wood effect ... it's gotta be a simple but effective design urgh!

4. Gas cooker, ideally one that turns itself off when the timer goes off. The timing thing is *essential* because I don't want things getting over cooked or burning because I got distracted. It's been a life saver having that feature!

5. Cupboards have to be the right height to minimise risk of smacking my head on them. No point in explaining this one, you either know what I mean or you don't.

The rest of my concerns come down to the actual size of the kitchen and things like windows and stuff, which have nothing to do with all this stuff.

Dunno if any of that is any use ... probably not ... but I tired.
