It's a species of cockatoo (spelled galah, by the way) native to Australia, otherwise known as the rose-breasted cockatoo.



Calling someone a "galah" is just a light hearted way of calling them silly, like some people over here might say "silly goose" or whatever.

Vegimite; Ozzies go all out for this stuff. Tastes pretty good actually, much better than marmite or bovril. Hot oxo as a drink is good with the crust and butter.
