I challenge anyone to give an example of them making initial contact with someone they found ugly, with a view to dating them.

I had have a 3 and a half relationship with a guy I fell for before I'd even seen a picture of him nor he me (the guy i mentioned in another thread).

I don’t tend to pay to much attention to a person profile anymore. The same as many others, I used to look at the picture (am I attracted to that person), height (personal preference… my height or taller) and anything that we may have in common, however I’ve learnt that some peoples profiles are not always honestly written and after a few conversations, you find it’s a completely different story Rolling Eyes !!!

Know, if I receive a email that shows that the person has put a little time and effort into introducing themselves (for a change, lol), even without a picture, I will reply to that person and see how it goes. I’ve met some really great people who have just been a little to shy to put there pic on show…..

Some don't show a pic for professional reasons. Teachers for instance.

I hardley ever go on the list of who's onlin anymore. Much prefer going into the forums and getting to know people better in a more social setting.

I dont add to the conversations....I distract from them...

Did you know that if you dropped a very heavy fish on your foot it would most likely hurt a little bit...unless you have a false foot....in that case you wouldn't realise it had fell on your foot and you'd trip over it....aren't fish amazing how they can fool you like that. I had a fish once but I never dropped it on my foot. I wish I had a fish now because Im so bored I would drop it on my foot, which, incidently is a real foot so have no fear about me tripping over the fish. As any body got a fish I can borrow please. Must be heavy.

Ive finished now, continue please.
