I haven't met many of those, I must confess. That's why I would check the education level in the profile.

to be honest, i dont look through profiles in great detail..

Profiles are like book covers..its the story inside that counts..
and as for intelligence, well looking at qualifications etc is a load of bull in my opinon..for me intelligence is not how much you know, its knowing where to find the answers..I know of an intelligent person, works for nasa as a scientist, he cant work a washing machine..go figure..

I like to talk to people who have at least a little bit of intelligence, and that can hold a good conversation.

I also agree with 53846 that the profile doesn't give a very full picture. But I can usually tell from a profile if I'm definitely not interested.

The trouble is in seeing a profile where you think "Hmm . . . maybe", only to find out from making contact that a person is just not suitable at all.

hmm i read this topic with interest as i was not really sure what to put on my profile. so i have taken on board whats been said so far and i decided i would update my profile, only problem is your only alowed 800 typing characters so i ran out of typing space but i have added some more stuff about me. i agree with what 53846 said, you cant really tell what someones like just on a profile, but it might give a small indication as to what lies beneath maybe? if i said i got through a bottles of scotch a night and liked a bet on the horses im sure we could all make our assumptions on that lol.

anyway,i dont drink a bottle of whisky a night, i never drink scotch, i always drink jamesons irish whisky and i dont bet on horses, just for the record lol.

what attracts to a profile?hmmm a good one ive got to go with location first just because its good to be near somone but if i just talking dont matter where(i talk to everyone hehe) then profile yeah dont really care about looks because what someone looks like doesnt say what kind off person they are which is really what i looking for xxxx(sorry laura for being stupid and not being able to spell hehexx)

i dont tend to send the messages but the only ones i dont reply to are the ones who dont have pictures, dont have much on their profile and the ones with guys who take pictures of themselves but behead themselves in said pictures lol
