Yeah but as we all know it's the 'does my bum look big in this' factor, if a woman asks a guy if he likes her new hairdo there is no right answer (especially if she thinks it looks great but he doesn't lol)!
And also women will spend £60 and 2 hours on getting thier hair done so it's an investment that they're proud of, most blokes will go to the barbers and they want to be in and out as quick as possible, and spend as little as possible....it's not the same social experience for us, just another demand on our already busy schedule!
I know I wouldn't mind changing my hairstyle though if my new love said 'yknow, your hair would look a lot better if it was longer' etc

Ah, see that's where I'm a bit different. I hate getting my hair done so only have it done when neccesary (ie split ends!). I've only once, as a fully fledged adult, paid £60 to have my hair coloured. I loved it, so any other opinions would not have been asked for

Every time I have my hair even trimmed, I think about what else that money could have bought and I REALLY resent having to pay 3 times or more the amount a guy would to have the same amount cut off Mad

It's not just on haircuts though - those Q10, hydroenergising, superpeptides type of face creams that cost £30 for a little jar....well, apart from maybe a bit of scent, they are identical to mens post-shave moisturisers that only cost a fiver.
And clothes too, generally are cheaper for blokes.
But not car insurance.

Don't use anything on my face, not even soap! Rarely wear makeup and only basic shampoo and conditioner on my hair which is trimmed about 3 times a year.

I've tried time and again to grow my hair long, but every time it gets to a point where I can't stand it anymore and end up going and having it cut right down.
