I suppose, considering the poll results, I'm not doing too badly. Although I miss the target on a few things, the kind of person that I'm looking for wouldn't be all that bothered by those things anyway.

Based on recent experience I think my height and weight might be the first things that a woman might notice (i.e. I'm tall and not in too bad shape for my age and height at around 15 stone), and since I usually have my 3 legged dog with me, it's obvious I like pets Reading through those articles, I also wear jeans and t shirts (check), not quite clean shaven (but my goatee is barely noticeable), I have blue eyes and dark brown hair (what there is left of it), so that's the initial physical side taken care of.

I don't think anyone I'm likely to meet is going to expect many of the other qualities that were listed in that poll, people who have those material expectations don't hang out in the places where I meet people. I'm much more likely to meet someone who smokes roll ups, has a somewhat bohemian attitude to life and style, rents their home, and would probably expect me to be very similar.

Hopefully I'll meet someone soon, but I noticed that in a previous similar poll that women said ".... women saw taller men as good for a fling but saw shorter men as better companions for settling down". Now I know that, a lot of things make sense

They only one in that list that would influence me is he would need like pets, working in a vets, I counld't be with someone who didn't like animals. The rest on the list doesn't bother me

I had to laugh at the Weight/Height bit - agree with Darkhorse there.
My first thought was "But I don't want to date Jack The Pumpkin King" !!

1. At least 5ft 10in - Yep, at least
2. Good looking - Well its nice to have a bit of eye candy, as long as he's not totally gross!!
3. 12.5 stone - ok
4. earns more than £30,000 - would be nice
5. Blue eyes - any eye colour would do
6. Short dark-brown hair - not fussy.
7. Medium build - not fussy.
8. BA degree - not fussed as long as they're not stupid!
9. Never been married - not bothered.
10. No children - not bothered.
11. Three previous serious relationships - Not bothered.
12. Clean-shaven - Yeh
13. Drives sliver Mercedes - A car of any sorts would be nice
14. Enjoys cinema - not fussed
15. Likes eating out - Yep
16. Has had fewer than six sexual partners - not fussed as long as he's 'clean'
17. Owns a £300,000 home - not bothered
18. Doesn't smoke - not bothered,seeing as i do
