Since 5.11.2008, there is a weird new love law in Germany...basically this is against the Anti-Discrimination act that states, that all people are treated equally, no matter what they look like etc....

The new law treats women that look younger then 18 the same way as women under the age of 18.

This means if you are 18 or 20...or even 24 but look like 17, you are neither allowed to work as a porn star, nor to make money on webcams, not are you allowed to go to a swinger club.

This is a new law from Ursula von der Leyen, the family minister in Germany...

Maybe no members of the parliament voted against the law as otherwise they would have been regarded as pedos? My theory is, as usual, noboboy has looked at the laws in detail when they voted for it...and just thought the title of the law sounds good.

Who decides how old a woman looks?

I'm sure there are some women that obviously look young, but what is the difference physically from a 17 year old and an 18 year old to decide if one or the other should not star in a porn film?

It happens.
T'is how some laws on abortion, euthanasia, capital punishment etc. have gone through in several countries. MPs are after all human like the rest of us, and some squirm and back off when faced with a morally difficult question.

I wonder what it says about girls (and boys) who look a lot older than they really are?

I still want to know just who is going to decide who looks under age?
I recall recently here a 40 something years old granny being refused alcohol to buy because she looked under 21 and didnt have any proof of age ID.
The other week, my ex-husband (who is 65) went into a shop with our 16 yrs old lad and was refused buying lighter fuel because the lad was with him ("you might be buying it for the boy's recreational use, Sir") He was gobsmacked and very angry - a few days later said 16 yrs old son went to the same shop, same till assistant, and bought said lighter fluid by himself. (for his dad's lighter).
Crazy or what.
As to this topic, maybe they should cut to the chase and prosecute the people who ogle the too-young looking models??!!
