The question is: In which country do you get the best value for money as far as property/houses is concerned?

My fav topic is houses in different countries at the moment

If you are curious too have a look on the internet and post the houses you have found here:

I start with this offer here:

A house in Sweden for around 30,000 pounds - with lots of land and a lake next to the house....

I used to be an au pair in Sweden and that house is the spitting image of the one next door to their country house. And the description sounds just like it too!

Buy it or I'll go halves with you Wink quote 'in between coppenhagen & stockholm roughly' both fantastic places, I'm goin back to stockholm early sept, beautiful clubs/bars playing beautiful electronic music & the most beautiful girls dancing/partying! truly heaven like & the finest designs in furniture, they were doin the 'minimalist' thing years ago.. get gone & live happily ever after..the houses are cheap but the cost of living is sooo expensive! between £5 - £8 a pint out there! just to put it into perspective

You didn't say cheapest, so i'll work like this. Your opening property toby, 5 rooms (and?) 3 WCs - £30,000.

I'll see that and go with 29 bedrooms, 15 bathrooms - 500,000. In Scotland. That's not as cheap as they get, with some going for as little at 250,000.

Obviously it's not budget, but the value for money - oh yeah.

Have you got some proper links to the offers? Sometimes you can buy a castle for 1 euro/dollar/pound - because they are so expensive to maintain...

Do you know what's really weird?

In Hungary you can get really nice houses for really little money...e.g. for 50-70,000 pounds.....if you look on Germany property websites.

If you look on British property website such as rightmove....you also find houses in Hungary but about 5x more expensive....

Even houses in Hungary are really expensive in the UK
