Contrary to what I'd thought, I won't be going into hibernation this saturday! I'm going out with a girl friend and the man she likes, who just happens to have a single manfriend, hopefully we'll click and I might get some romance yet!!

Mr Darkhorse is dumping me at a friend’s house for the night so he and Miss Cork Legs can go to a gig.

OK, so it’s not really Valentine’s Day plans, but they will be together when the auspicious day dawns.

Not that the fecker has got anything for her, but I know him well enough to know that it is not because he doesn’t love her, but because he is not sure of the best way to show it. I have no doubt that he will shower her with attention though, and I’m guessing they’ll have loads of love (or various kinds), and he will hold her in his arms as they lie together in spasms of post-coital quivers. Is that enough for Valentine’s Day, I hear you ask? How the hell should I know, I’m a bloody dog!!

Ouch, that's harsh.
I spent it very single, but at my eldest son's wedding and had a fantastic time seeing my step kids and step grandkids etc etc.
It was fab, I didnt mind in the least being single.

Sat in on Valentines night, no cards, no date, no nothing


Received an unexpected phone call from someone though that cheered me up

Well, i don't know much, but here in Portugal there are some companies that make some very special things to offer like a one day in a SPA for two or baloon ride across the land, a day doing radical sports, one year i spend the day in some castle around the town, they had nice food and good arrangements, i think if you are into do something nice you don't need much, you just need to know her and to please her.
