How far is too far to walk?

Personally I don't feel dressed without a car on...but I have walked places. Walked up to town once, about 45 minutes stroll...decided that was too far and got the bus back. Did walk from Watford to Borehamwood one summer years ago, it mashed me. I'll ride my bike down to the park, but thats different, it's more rolling than riding.

One day, I walked from my house into Walsall, which is about a mile and a normal walk for me. Then I decided to go to the retail park at Bescot, which is about 1 mile out of town. I walked there. Then I walked all the way back.

Now that was too far to walk.

I walked from Camden to Finchley once, about 5 miles? Was too pissed to think of getting a night bus! That was a bit far...

I love walking though, take the scenic route down to my mate's sometimes to take in the park, route becomes about 4 miles rather than 1...

Love walking but it depends on how much time I have. At the weekends Ill walk to town along the beach (2 and a bit miles), shop and walk home (another 2 miles).

Without calling a taxi?

Limit is roughly Kerb to Car Door......

Only joking - a round of golf is about 6 miles (the way i play it) or if i go for a serious walk - about 10/12 miles
