nice pic Scott... hey, the only time I went to Box Hill was a school trip and we weren't allowed everywhere as they were filming a horse riding scene for a 1960s film called A Smashing Time

I think you told me that on facebook too lol Very Happy

I was up at 4am to drive to Birling Gap at East Sussex. Its a gorgeous area to walk in, along the cliff tops, it was so quiet and just stunningly beautiful when the sun rose around 6.20am and all the rabbits started running back to their burrows Very Happy

here is one of part of that walk

Then I went over to this little church a few miles up the road in Newhaven...

I really wanted to go in and take some photos inside but there was a service about to start so I couldn't Laughing

Last weekend I was down at Eastbourne at 7.30am!

I don't know about anybody else but I love pier's and it is becoming quite aparent that local councils have not been maintaining a lot of them so they are falling into disrepair. Hastings pier is closed because its too dangerous and the council do not have the money to fix it. All over the UK piers are deteriating. This pier at Eastbourne, although still open, was a bit of a state close up, paint was flaking off most buildings and window sills were coming apart. What a shame, the great Victorian and Edwardian designs are slowly going to disapear like Brightons west pier did. Sad

I give Eastbourne pier another 5 years before it too becomes structurally unsafe Sad

Awwww scottie, so glad you are back, change of name had me there for a minute....I love this pic of you, relaxing....the other one aint bad either, lollll
