Today I actually got on with some uni work - its still not finished but its closer! I also booked my car in to be repaired, mowed my last customer's lawn and had a shower.

A success methinks!

My Dearest Flirtbox

It is with great relief that Today I found out that The Three Legged One has only strained her remaining back leg, and just needs a bit of rest. I suppose it’s not surprising that she strained her back leg, she walks miles every day, and for the past year she has managed to do everything she used to do when she had 4 legs (including somehow getting on my desk to look out of the window)

Oh, my darling Flirtbox, what a night I had! I was disturbed from my slumbers at around 3h30 by the insistent beeping of my alarm. After wiping the sleep from my weary eyes I remembered that I don’t have an alarm, and after much investigating I discovered that my electricity meter was the culprit of the afore-mentioned disturbance.

My nightly repose was further disturbed by vibrating from my mobile phone, which I keep under my pillow for some reason. Admittedly, the interruption was at a decent hour (twas around 7h30) but seemed somewhat earlier, due to afore-mentioned disturbance by the infernal electricity meter.

Sadly, o love of mine, you winsome and lustful wench, my email inbox is overwhelmed with missives of love and devotion, and requests to perform mundane toils of labour, and so I leave you for the morn with a chaste kiss upon the cheek and a promise of a hasty return, that I might lay my weary head upon your ample breast and take solace there.

Today I am glad that the three-legged one is in the process of mending.

Today I am also *thinking* about getting some work done and might even try a bit later on.

Today I went grocery shopping. I bought coffee, Maltesers, Golden Virginia and a quiche. Hopefully that'll keep me going till Sunday
