Probably not but
a.) it was late in the afternoon by then
c.) my sister was waiting for me and I was already late.
d.) it was too hot to be faffing about with bike mechanics.

Yeah its only the 2nd time i used that bike rack (rear bike rack, not a roof rack) and its a hell of a lot easier to remove the straps than put them on and make sure the rack is central, tight etc. But hey, I still had a day out and I can take as long as I like with the puncture repair now Very Happy
