I spent my 30th in hospital with menangitis.

I had planned on a hot air balloon ride, the first and last time I did it my sister held me on the floor gripping my hair like a vice screaming hysterically in my ear.

(having spent my 20th in hospital with typhoid, I was not amused...at least I got to spend my 40th nicely, mooching around a roman amphitheater with a special person).

Do the hot air balloon ride, just dont take a wimp like I did.

Having gone well past 30 now, I look back and say what had I not done by the age of 30. To be honest, I look back and say I have done quite a lot of things I have never done before, since the age of 30. I guess the answer therefore, is to grab all opportunities you can. However, do not be disappointed when some pass you by.

We are all heading in the same direction, and we all have the same ultimate ending. Therefore, your intermediate achievements or targets, are not as important as how much you enjoy them, whatever they are.

It is what you do on the journey to your ultimate destination, which matters the most in life. We all have the same ultimate destination, so in that sense we are all the same.

We are different in that some people can, and some can't. Some do and some don't. Work out what you can do and do it, and do not spend any time being envious of what you can't. Life is too short!

1. Have sex in the sea
2. Drive a rally car very fast round some woods
3. appear on national television and either say something rude, or do a stupid dance.

There are others, but i cant think of them at the moment.

I've partied so hard I've almost totally lost my voice

In the last few days I've been to Scotland and back to party with my bestest friends

And roamed the streets of Nottinghill Carnival

I'm totally buggered and my liver probably has some sort of permanant damage

Bit late I know, but for my 30th I got totally mashed on pot. My first ever and I made fudge with it. What a hoot that was

And for my 40th, I had a flying lesson.
