I went horse riding for the very first time today.

The nearest thing I'd ever done to riding a horse was a donkey ride on the beach as a kid.
I couldn't believe I actually rode the horse half way home on the road!!! A bus and 4 cars passed me! But I feel good that I've done something else on my list.

Anyway, I just wondered if others have a TO DO LIST which they're working their way through and adding new things when something else sounds appealing.?

I'd like to have a helicopter flight one day.
" " " learn enamelling (for jewellery)
" " " go to Dublin (and other places)
" " " swim with whales and dolphins in Hawaii
" " " go on a cruise to Iceland via Scandinavia

These are just some of the things on my list, but I can tick off the horse riding now Razz

There are lots of things i'd like to do, but number one is to see the northern lights.

Yeah, I'd like to see the Northern Lights too.
How come nobody goes into rhapsody about the Southern Lights?
And I'd like to do two train trips: across Canada and on The Ghan across Australia.
I'd like to visit Bora-Bora.
I've done the helicopter ride, Sue, and it was one of those with all-round vision - even below your feet! I was on the outside seat and hung on to the woman next to me like a drowning man, as well as the handle. I was strapped in!
She must have thought, 'Damn! Trust me to get the pervert!'
But I'll do it again!
I've been to Dublin...
Spent 6 months there and the magic wore off! Razz
(Unlike Paris! )

Oooh 2 more for the Northern Lights Trip, start saving everyone!! Yes,it is one of the essential reasons for my Scandinavian Cruise.

I've had a near death experience (possibly a death revival too)It accounts for why I'm a bit 'off the wall' with my beliefs and stuff and made me who I am.

Hmm I think I'll leave you to the sharks gooddude, nice swim with dolphins though

Oh handsel what a flightmare you must have been in the helicopter.... haha!!Sounds like an event you won't be repeating.

Uhm... I kinda of dislike bucket lists, because they always make me feel like when you've crossed everything on the list it's goodbye and good luck. LOL

I want to spend at least a year in the UK.
Win a huge tournament of some sort.
Learn to jive.
Do a proper dance on Elvis Crespo - Princesita and Solomon Burke - Cry to me (jus' like in Dirty Dancing Razz) - preferably with someone who makes my tummy tingle.
I would also like to see Graceland and Memphis.
Drive a motorcycle.
Have a top notch body, at least for a while.

And many more.

However what I'd recommend everyone to do at least once in their lives is meet someone who brings the sincerest, biggest smile on your face and ride a wild beast (and by that I don't mean a beast from the wild lol). But that's really a question of luck.

Oddly enough my daughter texted me to let me know she was expecting to see the Northern Lights from London.
I saw them in Exeter when I was a child, but it had a great impact.... I thought it was aliens
I'm not sure I'll be able to see anything from here as we seem to be in this weird eerie mist today here in Norfolk.

Oh Jegs I see what I wrote on that thread, but somehow I haven't followed out too much

Bliss, the idea is to ADD NEW THINGS to the list so there is always something on the horizon to look forward to. As you focus, you're more likely to attract the opportunities to fulfil them. Believe in the impossible can achieve more than you think. NOW is a time for manifestation, so make sure it's things that will make you happy and feel uplifted, with a sense of fun or achievement.

hmn.. the good old bucket list 'eh.

1) Drive a ferrari - the way its supposed to be driven.

2) I'd like to kiss a woman, in the rain, just so i know why so many people go on about it.

3) i'd like a relationship that lasts longer than a couple of months with a woman who understands ME, rather than wanting to change me.

Added that last, as i know it'll never happen. Rolling Eyes

Interesting. What if you run out of things? Laughing Laughing I'm usually sort of a one track mind kind of person and I don't want many things in life so if I put them all on the list, I don't think I'd want more after achieving them. Laughing

But I'm probably mistakin', because there's always room for improvement. LOL
