but this new site is crap.

and why is there fake numbers of members on the homepage?

any regular here knows only too well that there is only a few HUNDRED active members as opposed to the few hundred thousand you claim to have.

the new who's online feature is my biggest problem. The old one was perfect.
it maybe could have done with putting photos up beside names, but this new total mix up of names male and female with photos and without..... it's just a mess.

Its not perfect but I like the new version, the whos online shows peeps as they log on in that order, I did prefer the list on the old version so I switch between the old & new to see this, God hasnt finished adding new stuff yet but so far hes done a good job, once you get used to it & find your way around it will be good i'm sure it is free at the end of the day so we shouldnt complain

Before the relaunch more people complaint about the old design then people complain about the new design now....so I think it is an improvement. The number of new registrations has gone up - so it can't be that bad compared to the old design.

There are about 15,000 users on the UK website every day....and 500-700 new users....on average about 20,000 new members every month on Flirtbox at the moment.

About 750,000 members have registered since 2000...and 420,000 profiles are in the database. I guess every month about 200,000 of them use the website and 350,000 use the website within a year. 70,000 of them sooner or later come back - some stay away for even 2-3 years and once they are single again, they come back. I once contacted a woman myself that has not been online for over a year - and another year later she logged in again - and we even met up. And it was worth to wait
She was in a relationship in the meantime...and the best that could have happend was that she read the message not before she was single again...if she has replied earlier she would probably have written "I am in a relationship now" - and we would have never met. So don't care about the latest activity if you really fancy someone....just contact them anyway - and if you want to find a date really soon, just restrict yourself to the online users or the "last active" or "newest members" ... for example the ones from the homepage (refreshed every hour or so).

If you only contact people in the "Flirt-Box", you know they have been active recently....if you contactc the people that are online, you know they are logged in and have been active the last 2-3 minutes.

On the forums, only a fraction of the members are active....but since the relaunch more and more people use it...

It does not mean it stays the way it is forever..it will be improved sooner or later - but there is a lot to do and I need to set priorities.

As there is usually not more then 6-10 pages of online users you can also click through it - apart from that it is sorted by activity - so if you refresh the page you sooner or later see everyone who is online.

can we not have a mix of who on line?,i like the old list on the side of the screen,as it updates,and if my friends come back from lunch,meetngs etc,i see the name appear,but the new one,with pitures,its nice to see the people if im looking for new people to message,so could we not have both?.i think the list under matches is infact the old type who online anyway,as it updates like old version did.

I'm getting used to the new site now and it's growing on me. I don't mind it at all. You can hardly expect god to bin all the work he's done and just go back to the old site, really.
