I have to admit that I loved that famous Faulty Towers episode, but that is as far as it goes for me.....

The rivalry between England and Germany, not sure its the same with them, probably goes back to the controversial 1966 world cup and knocking us out the 1970 world cup. Not forgetting all the penalty shoot out since. Probably has nothing to do with the wars.
Also the fact that they always seem to do well in championships, when their team is not always any better the ours Rolling Eyes Twisted Evil

Most English people dislike the French more then the German, and that is returned.

I can ask for a table by the window in German, when I was out in Hannover with my German friend she was so blown away when we went to a cafe to eat and I came out with that.......I never thought I'd ever have the chance to use it. My friend couldn't stop laughing with shock.
