Ahhhh...But I'm sure Chet will be able to find some other gorgeous Islands, when and if, the Maldives disappear completely, in our lifetime.

I'm a average human being and sorry to say this but like all people I'm greedy.

I want lots of money and and the fine things in life. I will only recycle if suits me for example we now have boxes outside our house for this.

I enjoy the fine things in life and I am very much fed up of being made to feel guilty by these mob of protesting tossers. It seems according to these morons we can't do anything right! We shouldn't drive our cars to the supermarket, instead struggle home with 16 bags or we shouldn't fly to the Maldives for our hard earned holiday oh even if we don't do all that we are still in the fooking wrong because we used a naughty bank for our savings.

Well I'm saying fook this shit because I work damn hard and worked even harder to get myself where I am today. I will be taking short or long haul flights and I most certainly will be buying a SUV. I am going to do what makes me and my family comfy, not conform to ideals dreamed up by a bunch of silly muppets.

Thank you and good night.

Well said Sir Smile

I live my life for today ......... cus you never know when its guna be your last day .......... so why worry about what might happen in another 100 years or so. Oh the Maldives are well expensive Chet i would stick with America if i was you ... Wink

Yes plenty of savings, ISA, share and other accounts with some of the most hated banks in the world.

Ann-Marie I can go there any time I want but I'm waiting to take the right lady!

Don't know what kind of capitalism we will have after the recovery they are promising us. Nothing like we have had over the last 25 years. I think some people should get around a table and have a word.

They have been getting around a table, Isn't that what the G20 is about? But usually the word is 'No'. The first one I can remember was G6, but I suspect that even if there was a G1 - they couldn't bloody agree! Laughing

They are running out of sticky plasters and they will be promising a recovery for a while longer: businesses are still failing, people still being laid off, and output still in decline. The best that can be said is that it's slowed down, but it's still working it's way thru the economy. And it's not just the UK or Europe that are affected. Japan, China and the USA are still staggering about too. Millions and millions of Chinese moving back to where they originated from. To do what?
It's not just the kind of capitalism we will have, it's the kind of world we will have.

I feel it's a more dangerous place than at any time since the Cuban missile crisis. I've got my towel ready and I'm hoping to get picked up by a Vogon spacecraft. In the meantime I've speeded up my '10 Things To Do Before I Die' list!
