I am not talking about a coconut here but I have picked up on this word being used more and more. How does anybody else feel about the use of this word.Is it still a taboo word?or has it become the norm in to everyday vocabulary like f--k?

I've only ever used once outside the bedroom, and believe me, it was still too polite a word!

Personally, I find both words you mention pretty offensive, particularly if its on these forums as a way of deliberately trying to shock. But then again, I am a bit of a prude!
I think it has become more of the norm to use rude words, I don't always have sweetness and honey dripping out my own mouth when I'm moody either, i am the first to admit.
But I hate to hear young kids use it like its just another word like "the" "and" etc.
BUt then, it was only about 10 yrs ago a friend reminded me the other day I didnt swear AT ALL, and would blush if someone else said anything rude, even bloody.....now i let the F word slip out occasionally myself......so maybe one day soon the C word wont bother me in the least?

PS Having said all that, I am not suggesting others should not be allowed to write these words, it doesnt offend me as such, just shocks me a bit and makes me feel uncomfortable, but I can live with that and it doesnt matter in the least!

I think it's so stupid
Girls won't say this word
Like asking everyone to not say shit, say turd
Fall back 5 yards it's time to punt

Just say cunt
Just say cunt
Just say cunt
Just say cunt

I think gash is offensive
Not to mention rude
And I don't think about eating it
When I'm eating food
There once was some dude on T.V.
His name was Alan Funt

Just say cunt
Just say cunt
Just say cunt
Just say cunt

I hope you're not offended
By this little tune of mine
So girls please don't start to flip out
To say cunt is no crime
The littlest piglet in the litter
is called the runt

Just say cunt
Just say cunt
Just say cunt
Just say cunt

At the end of the day, it is only a word.

It is a very descriptive word too when used correctly, I use it whenever the need arises.

I wouldn't let my daughter say it though.

She said fuck once and I went up the wall, my exact words were
'If you drop something on your foot and it REALLY hurts, I'll allow it, but if you drop it into conversation, I'll be saving a tenner a week in pocket money for the next 3 months OK?'

As it happens she hasn't used it since........

I personally hate the C word. Although I have been known to say it when really pissed off! Example being..I call my ex that name - He deserves it, though!

I hate this word too. After being called a smarmy one on here the other day, I hate it even more. Having said said....I have used it once, when extremely angry and I have a good friend who uses it in every other sentence, so I am gradually becoming de-sensitised. It depends on how it's said I suppose. My personal choice is not to use it though. There are plenty of other words to use.

The only time i've ever used it was in jest and without thinking (borrowed from someone who said it on some raunchy comedy show) I was talking with my dad about someone who passed on some sensitive info and I said "She's got more mouth than a cow's got &*5$".
My poor dad (VERY pious and straight laced) nearly fainted, and I nearly died of embarrassment -to make it worse I got a fit of giggles.
Never said it since!

From what he posted (that I sort of edited out ), I think there was a little more to it than that (but that is HIS side of the story), but in general he is(was) a muppet who needs to get that dick out his mouth and talk properly.......
