I did answer that at the time, but since you mention it again, it was a very good book wasn't it?

I was kind of disappointed of the film. The series was way better, but the books were bestest.

The film was a real disappointment if you ask me, too,
The cast were perfect for their roles, but there was that little something missing though.
I don't think it could ever be done as good as the book reads, but it is probably the same for any film isn't it.......
Douglas Adams was a very funny guy though...

AND I made a mistake so it seems, there were FIVE books in the series....

The egg. Because according to the theory of evolution, what laid the egg was not strictly a chicken as we know them today, it was a chicken ancestor.

The sky is blue because molecules in the air scatter blue light from the sun more than they scatter red light. When we look towards the sun at sunset, we see red and orange colours because the blue light has been scattered out and away from the line of sight. Phew knew chemistry would come in useful some day

When is star wars day?

I'm sure you are right, but how come then that the 24 hours day was invented when everyone still thought the world was flat? Or was it meant to be flat like a piece of paper, and square presumably?
Ive never given it a thought before now, but now I wont sleep while I ponder this!

All well and good you get all technical when you are talking about the sun, hours in the day, and the sky being blue, but I am quite upset that no-one has answered my cow question yet...... Sad

Megs - i might be a bit thick here, but dont they dip sheep still? I know it caused alot of arthritis and that OPP disease for the farmers, but presumably they found summat safer now and do the same with cows? Maybe the ones you saw had just been dipped? If they dip cows........

Edit: before anyone else says it, yes I know I am the dippy cow......... Laughing
