Ok, a problem shared by many folks on here I'm sure...I CAN'T DANCE!!!
Does anyone know of any good sites on the net that show good dance moves (for clubs I mean...no links or advice on Square Dancing Very Happy ).

I only ask cos I am tired of being too embarrased to hit the dance floor till I am drunk enough

the best way of learning to dance is watching other people.... if you have natural rythym you will be fine.... when a song starts i can tap my foot to the bass beat before it's even there...and when the bass beat starts up i'm perfectly in time. can you do that? if so you should be fine.

i find that if you dance like nobody's watching and just have fun you will be grand.

I just move with the rythym, if anyone can understand what i mean by that, let the music flow through me, and dont go mad, um, really hard to explain but moving your hips, and shoulders and arms are all up there with club "dancing" as most of it is done on the spot LOL

If you get to dance with someone, then again you just try and flow with them, dancing to music on the dancefloor is different to say salso or line dancing, i dont think there are any specific moves etc, you just gotta chill and go with the flow.

IMO
EDIT: of course if you can break-dance then your all set!!!

Mhm. I hate dancing though. I dance more as a workout indoors. put music on and just.....dance.

Plus I did ballet from the age of 5 to 13. Got bored of it, though.

I'm not a great dancer at all... Embarassed

My old dance teacher asked me to stand in for the younger ballet dancers teacher last week.
I turned it down.......I told her to ask again if she gets really desperate, though.

I'm actually thinking of taking it back up again...hm.
