I had my first tattoo done in 1973/74 [cost £2:50]....wouldn't say I've ever really regretted them.

got to say a woman with a tatoo is one of the hottest things going and its neither violation or abuse its a choice personal and for some me being one it reminds you of things that have happened to you

i love tattoos, i dont see a prob with them at all...
and yes i have 2 small ones and might get some more small ones depending on how i feel.

but a lot of people get tattoos to remind them of certain things that have happened in their life...
and what one person may see as horrible another person may see as art...

but people who get stuff like crazy frog and whatever the latest trend is... i think thats very stupid

I hate tatoos - why violate your body like that (sorry, not being specific to you here - just talking generally - men too)

Violate???? Slightly harsh word if u ask me...i take violation to mean something happens that u dont want to happen...I choose to decorate my body because i think they look nice......will i regret it when i'm older? maybe...but then its on my back and i dont have to look at it everyday...most of the time I forget its even there!....Will i care when i'm old an wrinkly?...NO! I'll probably be covered in big ol cardies by then!!

violate

verb {T}

1 to break or act against something, especially a law, agreement, principle or something that should be treated with respect:

Your right, I think abuse is a more neccecary word than violate (just read the dictonary!)

I presume you mean abuse as in, "the miss use of" I guess that's a personal opinion your entitled to.

I used to be a professional tattooist.
Was for a few years.
Have been thinking of taking it up again as its becoming so popular.
I do have some advice for anyone thinking of having one done.

Make sure you remember whatever you have its there for life.
Also remember that all though most people either like them or couldn't give a monkeys either way. They do cause some people to behave with prejudice it can be even worse than having a really bad hair cut!
