Of course tall girls need love too, but 99.9% of tall girls prefer tall men, so little point in me messaging a woman who's taller than me.

Honestly, I get plenty of replies, but the taller the women, the rarer that they reply.

Fact, not opinion.

And apart from my personal experiences, have a look on some of the popular paid-for sites, where height preferences are available. On average, the women are looking for someone about 6" taller than them.

And studies show that height is the NUMBER ONE factor that women look for, before anything else.

There's flexibility and there's realism and there's wasting your time. I'd rather be realistic and not waste my time.

Both my serious relationships were with guys a bit shorter than me....

I must be the exception to the rule!
