A load of old stones or do they have some meaning/purpose?

of course it has meaning, why else would the druids have dragged all that rock from wales to there, then set it up Templar style ?

Probably had some significance 6,000 years ago when built. Haven't been there but must be a great mystical place.

It still has meaning to spiritual people and druids (go there at important pagan dates, if you can get within a mile of the place under the full moon!) but it is meaningless to the people who liked to carve their names on the stones, hence there is now a flipping rope around the Henge and we gotta pay through the nose to view it from afar!
