I would also love to go back to the corset-wearing, Victorian times like in Pride and Prejudice- love the clothing styles and wouldn't mind going to a ball and meeting my Mr. Darcy

I wouldn't mind traveling back to the 50s and 60s, Civil War era or ancient Rome though too- I can't pick just one!

most people who experienced the 60's and 70's in that way can't remember much about it as most are brain dead and drowning in their own drool

can I go all the way back? ALL the way? And then just a little bit more?

So I can see what caused the big bang

Ok I know that's cheeting - time didn't exist before the big bang, in theory...

ok in hindsight not a good idea, well i would like to see parts of it, but still remember them and not be fecked up about it all.

actually i would like to be my age now, and go thru the 60's/70's and 80's like a fleeting visit, see some great bands and have a laugh and feel what it was really like, then come back to now

I want to see what crashlanded.

I also want to go back and see if they did swap the Olympic for the Titanic and sunk the Olympic accidently-on-purpose.

good answer...one i would like to know.....i think they did personally.
anyway i would go back in time to the years when dinosaurs were wiped out, standing in a bubble that protected me of course.
I would also go forward in time and see what happens to humainty just before our planet becomes inhospitable.

I like the forward in time idea a lot more than going back, but the chances IMHO of the human race lasting more than the next century or two are remote at best. If people throw their rubbish in places like Dartmoor, the Lake District and on the beach, what chance does our planet have?

But I admit, would be facinating to see where our future goes. How long will it be before we're all genetically engineering babies, getting memory enhancing chips installed in our brains - organic chips of course. When will conectivity move from laptop/mobile into another chip inside our heads - Borg, here we come. And will faster than light travel ever be possible? How many dimentions are there? 11? More?

If the potential of abuse of cryogenics wasnt so scary I'd be signed up in a flash. But just imagine if some future power hungry dictator took over the store room! And you woke up to find your brain had been transplanted into a fighting robot! Or much worse? Nah. No thanks...
