Dunno if anyone has already mentioned this, but I just wanted to say thank you to Toby for the snow effect on the page Very Happy

It's the closest to the real thing that I think I'm going to experience this Christmas, which is a bummer cos I love snow.

Love how it collects at the bottom, too Smile Thanks Toby! Mr Green

Wouldn't mind some real snow though - been years since I slipped on the wet stuff and fell on my backside Smile

If anyone wants some more virtual snow, there's some on my home page too (well, there was some there, I dleted the script, as it was causing the site to run too slowly)

Yeh, it amused my ex's son (then 7 and never seen snow before) no end to see me fall on my butt and slide down the hill into the path of an oncoming bus.

I want it to snow so much over xmas that i can build a ridiculously over-sized 'snowman' in the front garden.
Or be really juvenile and go to the park and make one in the shape of a huge c**k Laughing
Oh and yeah - i like the snow effect on the page too - thanks toby

unfortunately this snow thang on here isn't very effective on my screen, I don't know why. Sad

At first I thought I was getting a migraine, when I realised it was just the screen and not my vision, I thought it was my monitor on the blink......took me ages to suss it's meant to be snowflakes falling - and they don't 'collect' at the bottom of the screen, as paganpoetry suggests.
Bummer that, cuz it's a really cool idea.

But no, bah humbug I really, really, really dislike the real thang! It just looks pretty on cards.
