I went shopping today and managed to spend £300 I don't have

Mainly on: Make up, shoes, boots, bags, CD's, clothes, and underwear.


AND I got my hair cut..well, just a couple of inches taken off it.

I paid on my credit card.

I need a job. I just don't have time to work. I'm at college 4 days a week, and when i'm not at college I can't be bothered to do anything

Considering all the stuff you bought: shoes, makeup,boots, bags, cd's, clothes, underwear and the Haircut ........ £300 isn't bad.

You must be quite a bargain hunter. The shop where i used to work used to sell shoes and handbags for IR£1,000 at a time. Never mind throwing bags, makeup, cds and what not, in with it.

Laura how do you pay your credit card off when you dont have a job though .. that must be hard

I LURVE SHOPPING....Im off shopping in the morning for some new shoes and pants, maybe some trousers....oooh and a swiss army knife. I also want some new razor blades and shaving foam to do me plums in case I get lucky while Im away.

I have money left over from birthdays/christmas's and stuff.

I won't use my credit card again until i've paid this lot off.

Oh, some guy from glasgow was chatting me up in starbucks.

Why can't people leave me in peace while i'm drinking coffee?!

Credit cards are dangerous things. I remember a salesman trying to flog me a card in a shopping centre once. He was quite persistent i remember, at first i told him, i couldn't afford it, then he spewed some crap about interest rates, then i told him i couldn't afford it because i don't earn enough, he asked me how much i earned and i told him i was on the dole ( i wasn't being cheeky i actually was ) he thought for a brief second and then told me that i was STILL eligable for a credit card!! Bloody hell, i walked off shaking my head.

I don't want a credit card, i don't need one, and i've lived 25 years of my life so far without having to depend on one. The temptation is just too much, to go spend crazy with the thing.
